Most kids learn piano one-on-one. But for beginners — especially 6 to 8 year olds — there's something really powerful about learning alongside peers.
They practice harder.
They celebrate each other.
They show up excited.
Group lessons at Holyistic Studios keep things small (just 4–5 students per group) so every child still gets real instruction time and Anne's personal attention. It's not a class where kids sit in rows watching someone else play. Everyone is at the piano, learning together.
Anne has been teaching in Fairbanks for over a decade. Group piano lessons are something she's developed intentionally — a structured beginner pathway that sets kids up to love music for life.

Group lessons are Holyistic Studios' beginner pathway. Students who are ready for more individual focus can transition to private lessons over time — Anne will let you know when the time is right.

SEMESTER DATES
Fall: August – December | Spring: January – May
Each semester ends with a recital. First-year group students are invited to attend as audience — performing is optional and introduced gradually.
PIANO FUNDAMENTALS
reading music, proper hand position, basic technique
MUSIC LITERACY
general music literacy: rhythm, ear training, theory basics
GROUP ACTIVITIES
group games and activities that build musical intuition
GROUP LESSONS
Beginner level — small groups of 4–5 students
TUITION & CLASS STRUCTURE
45-MINUTE WEEKLY SESSIONS:
$650/semester or $130/month on a payment plan
Pay in full or monthly payment plan. Non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot.
NOTE: Group lessons are available for new beginner students. If you have a continuing student interested in group lessons, mention it in your interest form.
